Who we are

These terms apply to purchases made at pictor.co.uk, which is owned and operated by Pictor. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

What we sell

We sell print-on-demand city map posters. Each poster is printed only after an order is placed. This means every poster is made to order specifically for you.

Each poster measures 30×40cm (12×16 inches) and is printed on 200gsm archival matte paper.

Our map designs are generated from OpenStreetMap data. OpenStreetMap is open data, licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL). You are free to use, share, and adapt our map prints in any way that complies with the ODbL, provided you attribute OpenStreetMap and its contributors.

Pricing and payment

All prices are displayed in your selected currency at checkout. The price shown is the final price.

• Pictor posters: from £25 (or equivalent in your currency)
• UK orders are subject to VAT at the standard rate, included in the price shown.
• International orders may be subject to import duties and customs fees. These are your responsibility and are not included in the price.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Order confirmation

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming your order details. This email is not acceptance of your order. We may refuse or cancel an order if the item is unavailable, if payment is not authorised, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you in full.

Production and shipping

Posters are printed on demand by Gelato, our fulfilment partner. Production typically takes 2-3 business days. Delivery times vary by location:

• UK: 2-4 business days after production
• Europe: 3-7 business days after production
• US: 3-7 business days after production
• Rest of world: 7-14 business days after production

These are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, postal services, or events outside our reasonable control.

Lost or damaged in transit

If your poster arrives damaged, email us a photo of the damage and we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund. You do not need to return the damaged item.

If your order is lost in transit, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. We will investigate with the carrier and send a replacement or refund.

Intellectual property

The map designs displayed on this website are our original work, derived from OpenStreetMap data under the ODbL licence. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell our poster designs in any form. Purchase of a poster grants you ownership of the physical item only and does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the design.

Prohibited uses

You may not use this website or its content for any unlawful purpose. You may not attempt to copy, scrape, or reproduce our product images, descriptions, or map data for commercial use without our written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
